What a crazy, fun, exciting summer this has been for our family! We have been very busy and have made lots of memories! It’s good to be home for a few days!

Lots of you ask questions about the pieces in my home and how I style them. I am going to focus on one piece in  particular this week. I wanted to share how I would style an apothecary cabinet used as an Island. This is my list of favorite inspirational pieces from this French farmhouse look.

I love apothecaries! I have several in my house and they are just my favorite! I have a large apothecary cabinet as an island in my kitchen. I get questions about it all the time.

Stoneware Butter Dish

How adorable is this butter dish? So simple and so sweet! This would look so cute with this whole list of things, or in any kitchen really because it’s so sweet and simple. This is another great item from Target. Pick one up here!

Cotton Table Runner

I love table runners. They are perfect to add texture in your kitchen or dining room. I especially like the subtle hint of color in this one. Another great Target find! You can buy it here.

This is such an adorable pitcher! I think it would be perfect with a big bouquet of summer flowers! I love the neutral color and the vintage look. This is yet another Target win!  You can find it here.

I love greenery! It makes a space feel alive and fresh. I think this plant would be so cute in a kitchen, and it matches so well with the other ceramic pieces in this set. It’s another great find from, you guessed it, Target! You can grab one here.
