Decorating my Christmas table is one of my favorite things to do for the holiday season!  Whether it is a simple centerpiece for everyday or an elegant tablescape for a special gathering, seasonal tables just have an extra special feeling.

In fact, I keep an eye out all year long for little elements that I can use for seasonal tablescapes.  Some of my favorite finds have been vintage items from thrifting or going to flea markets and antique shops.

The tablescape I am sharing today is one that was a couple years in the making!  When I found the first couple of vintage brass horn ornaments at a flea market, I knew they would make the cutest napkin rings!

It took me another whole year to find enough (with thrifting and antiquing for them) to fill my whole tablescape!

Tablescapes are kind of like a blank canvas!  I love planning my Christmas table each year and I hope you will have fun with yours this year too!

To help you, I’ve rounded up 5 other gorgeous Christmas tablescape ideas from some of my friends!

There are so many beautiful ideas throughout this post for your Christmas table!  When I’m looking for inspiration, I love to take my favorite ideas from different places and combine them to create my own look!

There is certainly plenty of inspiration here for you to do exactly that this holiday season!

Vintage Christmas Table

My favorite Christmas tablescape that I’ve created this year is full of winter greens, simple, white dishes, shop rag napkins that feel like old linen, and touches of vintage brass.

I incorporated elements that tie together with my Christmas theme of “Good Tidings”, like these vintage brass French horns nestled in the greenery. (hyperlink everything)

You can see all the details over on this Christmas table post!

Tablescapes are the first thing that drew me into my friend Leanna’s Instagram and blog, Life By Leanna.  I love how dramatic this Christmas table looks, with the cascading table runner and lights.  At the same time, it’s simplicity is so inviting and family-friendly too!  You’ll get some great ideas that you can easily incorporate into your Christmas tablescape from Life By Leanna.

Sarah from Dreaming of Homemaking is sharing a tablescape that would perfect to use all winter!  One less thing to pack up when Christmas is over and you can keep the cozy winter look going!  I love the modern farmhouse look, softened with the cascading winter greenery.  This tablescape is perfect for a dramatic touch, yet in a simple and easy way!

Speaking of dramatic Christmas tables, Carissa from Bless This Nest shares how to create this DIY garland!  I love how it trails off of the table for that “extra” touch, yet has an overall simple and elegant look!  The buffalo check adds the perfect amount of cozy farmhouse Christmas and you can create this look by using pieces you already have and just adding a little to them!  You’ll love Carissa’s elegant table and the simple ways to get this look for your own table!

My friend Kelly from The Tattered Pew is speaking my language with these gorgeous vintage demijohns for her centerpiece!  I love the addition of the wood tones to add contrast to this festive table!  Kelly shares some really simple tips for making your Christmas table look extra special this year!  You’ll love how easy it is to create an elegant table!

This tartan plaid tablescape theme from Jenn over at Midwest Life and Style has all the classic Christmas vibes!  I love the simplicity and how easy it would be to create using everyday dishes and basic winter greenery.  The blue and green gives it a little different twist, which I love!  You could use this concept throughout the winter, too, not just for Christmas!

I hope you have fun planning your Christmas table this year!  Whether it’s a sweet table for two or a dinner where you pull out the extra tables and chairs, I hope it is filled with meaningful love, memories, and Christmas blessings!
