Happy December friends! This week for Friday Favorites showcases things you can put trees in, but then use all year round. I love using unique baskets and boxes. This list is a round-up of vintage containers that would be great for tree stand holders and then use all around your house as decor later.

Antique French Braided Basket
This is a beautiful basket! It’s a nice sized oval shape that would be great for a Christmas tree base. Later, you can use it as a blanket basket in your living room or even a toy basket in a play room! I love that it’s authentic french vintage! You can find it here from Etsy.
Vintage Ceramic Jar
This is an old jar that would be cute for a little tree on the kitchen counter or coffee table. This has a fun vintage advertisement for dundee keiller marmalade. This is another one from Etsy that you can find here.
Farmhouse Washbucket
How cute is this galvanized bucket? This is so perfect for a farmhouse themed Christmas decor! And then after Christmas it can be used anywhere in your house as a cute farmhouse touch! You can find this one from Etsy as well!
Vintage French Crate
I have one of my trees in these and then i put a board on the top and use it as a coffee table the rest of the year. It works perfectly! I definitely recommend one like this one! You can find it here on Etsy.

This is another beautiful find! It’s handmade, vintage and beautiful! A perfect item for using in Christmas decor and then transitioning to year round home decor. It can be bought here on Etsy.
French Wicker Basket
This is a beautiful basket. It’s woven wicker. It’s not a super old piece and the listing says its from the 1900’s. I love the blue color on the wicker design! You can find it here.

Here is another great galvinized metal piece! This would be great for some Christmas florals. This pretty pitcher can be found here on Etsy.
Pre-lit Aspen Green Fir
This is a beautiful artificial tree! If you have all of these lovely baskets, you need a tree to put in them of course! It’s pre lit (Yay for easier set up!). It looks real and stands a nice four and a half feet tall.
They also have it available in a six and a half foot option. This would make a great secondary tree for a bedroom or kid’s playroom. You can find them here from Walmart.
