Welcome Home Saturday: Home Decor Inspiration

Such a pleasure to join some of my favorite blogging friends for some home decor inspiration this weekend! Keep reading to see all the fun things they each have to share with you today! First, a little recap of my week over at Robyn’s French Nest!

Happy Saturday! It has been a busy but fun week here at Robyn’s French Nest! With Valentine’s Day happening in just a couple of days, it’s been all about the cute crafts, recipes, and table decor around here!

Even though we don’t go all out for Valentine’s Day in our home, it’s fun to just add some little touches here and there. Simple celebrations and small home decor inspiration can be the most fun of all!

It has been a busy week at school, too, creating allllllll the cute handprint crafts with my little students and sweeping up sprinkles and glitter (non-stop!) I can’t lie; I’m pretty excited that we don’t have school on Monday! This teacher and mom needs an extra day!

I think I’ll use part of my day to pull out the winter decor (it’s basically early spring in our South Florida weather!) and get it tucked away until next year. I’m ready to start bringing in just the earliest touches of spring and a hint of color, so stay tuned for that coming up next week too. I’ll get some pictures taken and up on the blog ASAP, in case you’re starting to dream about home decor inspiration for spring too!

For today, though, I’m delighted to be the guest blogger for Welcome Home Saturday for some home decor inspiration. I love this group of friends and since we are spread around the country, I’m especially thankful for technology that allows us to stay in touch and be inspired by one another too! Most of us got to enjoy a dinner together at the Haven Conference in 2021 and I’m already looking forward to a group hug this coming July!

I love sharing our home here on the blog and over on Instagram. I especially love sharing tips and ideas with my community too. I guess “once a teacher, always a teacher” is true, no matter the audience or subject! ????

While I appreciate many kinds of decor, vintage pieces always have my heart! I love hunting for them, refinishing them, and decorating our home with unique finds.

My husband and I take a few trips each year for the purpose of vintage hunting and are passionate about investing in pieces that fill our home with function and character! We have one coming up next weekend, so stay tuned to see what we find. You literally just never know…it’s all about the hunt!

Speaking of vintage, is anyone excited about some of the 2022 Home Decor Trends? I love seeing that vintage pieces are continuing to be a strong trend. And I love that vintage leaves a wide open door for so many styles too!
