Neutrals don’t have to be boring! Looking for something unique this Easter? Keep reading to find out how to make this beautiful Easter tablescape using neutral colors!

[/et_pb_text][et_pb_text admin_label=”Intro Text” _builder_version=”4.14.8″ _module_preset=”default” text_font_size=”16px” global_colors_info=”{}”]

All of my friends know that I love neutrals. What can I say? I just LOVE them! While spring tables can be beautifully decorated with pastels or vibrant colors (all of which I love, too!), they can also have a much softer look with neutrals. You probably already have the basics that you need to create this Easter tablescape too!

[/et_pb_text][et_pb_text admin_label=”Intro Text” _builder_version=”4.14.8″ _module_preset=”default” text_font_size=”16px” hover_enabled=”0″ global_colors_info=”{}” sticky_enabled=”0″]

So, let’s get started. We are going to create a neutral tablescape that makes a statement for Easter!

How to Make an Amazing Easter Tablescape With Neutral Colors

[/et_pb_text][et_pb_image src=”https://robynsfrenchnest.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/Tablescape-3-scaled.jpg” title_text=”Tablescape 3″ admin_label=”IMG tablescape 3″ _builder_version=”4.14.8″ _module_preset=”default” width=”70%” module_alignment=”center” max_height=”750px” global_colors_info=”{}”][/et_pb_image][et_pb_text admin_label=”Place settings header” _builder_version=”4.14.8″ _module_preset=”default” text_font_size=”16px” global_colors_info=”{}”]

How to create neutral place settings for an Easter tablescape

Tip: Make either your centerpiece or the place settings the statement and keep the other one simple!

[/et_pb_text][et_pb_text admin_label=”Place settings dishes” _builder_version=”4.14.8″ _module_preset=”default” text_font_size=”16px” global_colors_info=”{}”]

Because I want my centerpiece for this Easter tablescape to really be the statement, I kept my place settings very simple. Using my everyday white dishes, I layered dinner and salad plates together. Matte gold flatware and glasses that I’ve had for over 14 years complete the functional part of each place setting.

[/et_pb_text][et_pb_image src=”https://robynsfrenchnest.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/Place-settings-1-scaled.jpg” title_text=”Place settings 1″ admin_label=”IMG place settings 1″ _builder_version=”4.14.8″ _module_preset=”default” width=”70%” module_alignment=”center” max_height=”750px” global_colors_info=”{}”][/et_pb_image][et_pb_text admin_label=”Place settings greenery sub header” _builder_version=”4.14.8″ _module_preset=”default” text_font_size=”16px” global_colors_info=”{}”]

Add simple, seasonal accents

[/et_pb_text][et_pb_text admin_label=”Place settings greenery” _builder_version=”4.14.8″ _module_preset=”default” text_font_size=”16px” global_colors_info=”{}”]

To give a spring look this otherwise multi-seasonal place setting, I added a simple eucalyptus candle ring wreath from Flower and Home Marketplace. This eucalyptus has such a realistic look and soft color. Since they are really easy to shape, I had the place settings looking like spring in a matter of minutes!

[/et_pb_text][et_pb_text admin_label=”Place settings greenery” _builder_version=”4.14.8″ _module_preset=”default” text_font_size=”16px” global_colors_info=”{}”]

When we are ready to sit down and eat, it will take a few seconds to pull the greenery off of the place settings for family to fill their plates! In the meantime, it will be pretty and inviting for Easter!

[/et_pb_text][et_pb_text admin_label=”Place settings eggs” _builder_version=”4.14.8″ _module_preset=”default” text_font_size=”16px” global_colors_info=”{}”]Since you can hardly have an Easter tablescape without eggs, I used these cute egg cups, also from Flower and Home Marketplace. The texture is absolutely beautiful and really elevates the whole place setting. Flower and Home Marketplace has matching egg salt and pepper shakers and cake stands too, which also look so pretty on my Easter tablescape!

I added a concrete egg to each cup. The concrete feels especially symbolic of the true reason and meaning for Easter and I love that bit of detail.[/et_pb_text][et_pb_image src=”https://robynsfrenchnest.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/Place-settings-2-scaled.jpg” title_text=”Place settings 2″ admin_label=”IMG place settings 2″ _builder_version=”4.14.8″ _module_preset=”default” width=”70%” module_alignment=”center” max_height=”750px” global_colors_info=”{}”][/et_pb_image][et_pb_text admin_label=”Place settings napkins subheader” _builder_version=”4.14.8″ _module_preset=”default” text_font_size=”16px” global_colors_info=”{}”]

Use inexpensive napkins for color and pattern.

[/et_pb_text][et_pb_text admin_label=”Place settings napkins” _builder_version=”4.14.8″ _module_preset=”default” text_font_size=”16px” global_colors_info=”{}”]

To add some light spring color, I used my favorite light blue striped napkins. They are inexpensive but have such a high-end look and feel. The blue blends so beautifully with the gray concrete eggs and the stripe adds a casual and inviting pattern!

[/et_pb_text][et_pb_text admin_label=”Place settings napkins” _builder_version=”4.14.8″ _module_preset=”default” text_font_size=”16px” global_colors_info=”{}”]

There are a lot of beautiful and even fancy ways to use napkins for place settings. My favorite is a super fast and easy one. I pinch the napkin in the very center, pick it up, and let the four corners fall. Then, I lay it on the plate with the pinched center at the top. Especially if I want to see a lot of the napkins color and pattern, this allows more to be seen, even when layering the dishes.

[/et_pb_text][et_pb_text admin_label=”Get the look subheader” _builder_version=”4.14.8″ _module_preset=”default” text_font_size=”16px” global_colors_info=”{}”]

Re-create this look!

[/et_pb_text][et_pb_text admin_label=”Get the look” _builder_version=”4.14.8″ _module_preset=”default” text_font_size=”16px” global_colors_info=”{}”]

Other than the concrete egg and egg cup, every single piece in this place setting is one that I can use year-round.

Tip: Invest in basic tableware that you love! You can inexpensively dress it up for every season and celebration!
