What’s your Christmas color palette?
This year, I decided to just go for it and lean into my decades long love of blue. And honestly, it’s been SO much easier to decorate because I don’t even have to change everything. Do you ever ask yourself why you haven’t done something a long time ago? 😅
I’m not finished and I’ve got a lot of tweaking to do but these small details perfectly feature my 2025 Christmas color palette and I’m loving it SO much.
All is calm? Yes please. 🤍
I’ve got a huge blog post coming on Saturday with lots of ideas for my top 5 Christmas color palettes. Over in stories, I’ve got a lot of things linked that I’m using and loving so far this season!
I hope you’ve had a wonderful week!
Blessings,
Robyn

Thank you for all the kindness shown to our family over the past couple of weeks. We know that God is good and continues to work for our good. My nieces and nephew sang this at my brother-in-law’s funeral last week and the words have stayed close to my heart and mind.
As we move into more routine, I’ve continued working on decorating our home for the holiday season. One of the reasons I love using the same Christmas decorations year after year is the importance of traditions. Even though I’m incorporating some fresh accent colors this year with ribbon, I love bringing out all of my “old faithfuls”!
Decor that we use year after year are what helps preserve the nostalgia and traditions of the season. What is YOUR favorite decor piece to bring out year after year?
For me, it would be our family nativity and then probably these vintage brass horns that I’ve spent years collecting (I have many more!)
Wishing you week of hope and gratitude.
Blessings,
Robyn

My mantel isn’t quite finished but I decided to go ahead and share my layered garland in case you’re working on some holiday decor planning yourself!
Greenery is one of the first things I start putting around our home because it feels like it starts transforming our home into a cozy Christmas cottage - and I can also keep Thanksgiving decor up with it if I choose to!
I hope this quick tutorial gives you some Christmas inspiration! It really is hard to believe that the season has rolled around again so quickly but I love it!

Slowly adding a few new pieces to my Christmas collection this year… 🌲
Little touches that feel nostalgic and simple… layered in with the things I’ve loved for years.
Don’t be deceived by these close up pictures, though; just out of each shot is the piled up mess that Christmas decor inevitably brings. 😂
I’m always drawn to that soft cottage charm — cozy textures, vintage details, and pieces that feel like they’ve been part of our story all along, whether they are antiques or budget-friendly finds.
I linked a few of my favorite finds and budget-friendly pieces that I’ve added to my collection this year in stories today if you’re starting to plan your decor too!
I hope you’re having a great week! We just got home from a Christmas rehearsal and I’m ready for a cozy evening!
Blessings,
Robyn

🍂 The season of gratitude and glow is almost here, friends!
This week, I’ve started mixing cozy textures, soft whites, and natural greens — planning and creating spaces that celebrates both gratitude and anticipation.
As I’ve been adding little touches of greenery and sparkle around the house, I keep thinking about how gratitude and joy are so connected. When we slow down to thank God for His blessings, our hearts naturally make room for more joy. 🌿
Tell me below — do you decorate before or after Thanksgiving? Or mix it all together into one cozy season like I do?👇
Let’s celebrate the beauty of both seasons together! 🤎🎄
Blessings,
Robyn

“What if today we were thankful for everything?” - Charlie Brown
What little thing are YOU grateful for today?!
Added a little touch of Thanksgiving to the dining room shelves along with my annual PSA: it’s time to start mixing winter greenery into your fall decor for a full and lush Thanksgiving style! It also mirrors nature with dried leaves mixed with evergreen, cedar, and pine varieties!
I hope you’re having a great week so far!
Blessings,
Robyn

Save or splurge? 🤔 What are your favorite save and splurge pieces in your home?
Each of these views in our home contains several “saves” and one or two splurges.
When it comes to home decor, I’m all about mixing the two. Spend a little extra on those key pieces that really make a room pop, and save on the small stuff that adds interest without the price tag.
Wanna know what I always splurge on (and what I never do)? Check out the blog today (link in stories or bio).
Have a great weekend! I *may* be digging into some Christmas boxes today!
Blessings,
Robyn

Do you decorate with family heirlooms?
One of my most frequent questions is how to mix the old and the new. Many times, part of our “old” decor includes family pieces.
Over on the blog today, I’m sharing many more ways to make family heirlooms a beautiful part of your decor rather than frustrating clutter!
