My Favorite Christmas Tradition
I don’t remember how they got to be such a big deal…both figuratively and literally…but stockings have been a huge part of our family Christmas traditions for as long as I can remember! For my side of the extended family, we all have HUGE stockings…like 30” tall ones…and sometimes a shopping bag has to be added on the side. Since I know my own kiddos’ are going to enjoy those at our family Christmas, we stick to the regular size ones for our little family. But it’s still my favorite thing and I love searching for the perfect little gifts that will bring delight.
There’s always the gag gift for my brother’s stocking, of course, but overall, we all end up with a stocking full of goodies to enjoy all year long! I definitely hit up the dollar store and dollar spots for fun little items, but we also include nice gifts in the stockings. So you may find some good last-minute gift items in these lists too!
I shared with you some ideas for the DIY Advent boxes earlier in the season and any of those ideas would also make great stocking stuffers too! Here are a few other favorites, including the hard-to-buy-for guys and teens!

And to all my mom friends out there…it is 100% legit to buy your own stocking stuffers. Things magically appear in my stocking that “no one” knew about. Happens every year! Ha! Have fun!!!
