Notes From the Nest
This. Â Week. Â Flew. Â By.
Can I get an Amen?! Â While the kids might be excited that we are so close to Christmas Day, the Christmas-loving soul inside of me is wishing the season would slow down! Â I guess time flies when you’re having fun. Â Time also flies when you’re a musician and there are more concerts and rehearsals in a week than there are days in a week. Â ????
I hope you enjoy the Notes From Our Nest this week!
Around Our Nest:
- This week and next are incredibly hectic for our little musician family. Â I think it is safe to say that the world still craves and loves the hope and beauty and FUN of Christmas music, right?!
- It’s a good thing I’m typing these updates instead of speaking. Â My voice is so tired! Â (As you’ve heard in the few IG stories I’ve been able to fit in this week!)
- We are enjoying our DIY Advent Calendar so much. Â Each day, we read “The Wonder of the Greatest Gift” by Ann Voskamp and the kids take turns opening the Advent box. Â It’s a 5-7 minutes of each day that I treasure and moments that do help the season to slow down a little for me!
- I am almost done with my gift wrapping! Â Just a few more gifts to find and wrap. Â I am thrilled to be ahead of the game, even if it’s just in this one little area! Â Haha!
Around the ‘Gram This Week:
- Even with a really busy week, I’ve had fun sharing over on Instagram this week! Â I know your decorating is probably about done. Â However, there are always those last minute things to do so hopefully these posts give you some inspiration!
- On THIS reel, you can see about 15 or so of my favorite things to use for Christmas table decor. Â You don’t need all of them, for sure, but a few mixed in can help you get those tables decorated quickly and easily! Â You can also shop the post HERE, where it is all linked conveniently for you!
- THIS post will give you ideas for some really quick and super simple centerpieces! Â These could be used for a coffee table, like I did, or for a dining table or even a kitchen island for some sparkle!
- I finally got a video version of my 2023 Christmas Home Tour ready for you! Â You can watch it HERE. Â I hope you enjoy a few moments of calm and peace in our Christmas home!
