Notes From the Nest

This.  Week.  Flew.  By.

Can I get an Amen?!  While the kids might be excited that we are so close to Christmas Day, the Christmas-loving soul inside of me is wishing the season would slow down!  I guess time flies when you’re having fun.  Time also flies when you’re a musician and there are more concerts and rehearsals in a week than there are days in a week.  ????

Around Our Nest:

• This week and next are incredibly hectic for our little musician family.  I think it is safe to say that the world still craves and loves the hope and beauty and FUN of Christmas music, right?!
• It’s a good thing I’m typing these updates instead of speaking.  My voice is so tired!  (As you’ve heard in the few IG stories I’ve been able to fit in this week!)
• We are enjoying our DIY Advent Calendar so much.  Each day, we read “The Wonder of the Greatest Gift” by Ann Voskamp and the kids take turns opening the Advent box.  It’s a 5-7 minutes of each day that I treasure and moments that do help the season to slow down a little for me!
• I am almost done with my gift wrapping!  Just a few more gifts to find and wrap.  I am thrilled to be ahead of the game, even if it’s just in this one little area!  Haha!

Around the ‘Gram This Week:

• Even with a really busy week, I’ve had fun sharing over on Instagram this week!  I know your decorating is probably about done.  However, there are always those last minute things to do so hopefully these posts give you some inspiration!
