Notes From the Nest
We have forgotten what a normal week looks like around our nest! Â Haha! Â However, we’ve enjoyed some gorgeous weather and fun moments this week, between all of the “out-of-the-ordinary” taking place too!
I hope you enjoy the Notes From Our Nest this week!
Around Our Nest:
- We made it home safely after driving over 3400 miles in about four days for Robb’s stepfather’s funeral. Â We are so thankful to be home and for safe travels!
- We arrived home to a few days of perfect 70 degrees weather days…a good reminder that a real break from our summer heat is in fact on the way!
- The kids enjoyed a couple of extra days off of school for fall break! Â Truly, they have needed this down time and I love that they spent a lot of time outdoors playing!
- I enjoyed a couple of days at a teachers’ convention with the faculty from our school. Â While I enjoy the time with friends and learning too, I was glad to come home on Friday night!
- A cozy weekend around home was exactly what we needed…of course, a break for the Indiantown Rodeo was super fun too! Â Yeehaw!
Around the ‘Gram This Week:
- Thanksgiving decor is so much fun and I’ve enjoyed sharing this week!
- Over on THIS reel, I shared how I used 3 different table runners with the exact same centerpiece elements. Â I love how each one makes the whole table look different! Â Hopefully this gives you some ideas you can use to mix and match your decor to create unique tablescapes!
- THIS reel was really fun to share a super easy DIY Thanksgiving garland I made. Â I also showed 5 other garlands that are super easy to decorate with. Â I shared them on my mantel but any of them could easily be great centerpieces for a fall or Thanksgiving table too!
