Notes From the Nest

Wow, what a week! To be honest, I’m recovering a bit from whiplash. Haha! It was a full and very fun week overall! However, I wouldn’t mind if this coming week slowed down just a tad bit!

Around Our Nest:

Payton competed with hundreds of students from around the state of Florida in the FACCS (Florida Association of Christian Colleges and Schools) State Fine Arts competition. She is so diligent and dedicated with her practicing and we love her passion for her music. We are so excited for her for placing 1st in piano and 1st in violin. Her piano piece this year was Schubert’s Impromptu No. 4. On violin, she performed a Concerto by Accolay. Congrats, Payton!
Major G. Winchester is the official name for our puppy and it’s hard to imagine our family without him now! We are still working on potty training but some improvement was made this week. Mostly, it’s just us getting organized with a consistent schedule! Ahhh!
Robb and I enjoyed a quick getaway to Plant City, Florida to attend the Strawberry Festival! It was SO fun to spend time together and with good friends. Of course, we enjoyed one…or two…or more yummy strawberry desserts. I mean, you’ve got to sample as many as you can, right?!
I added a little bit of Easter decor to my spring decorations this week and can’t wait to add more this coming week. It’s hard to believe Easter is this month!!!

Around the ‘Gram This Week:

It was another busy week on Instagram and I have really enjoyed sharing some recent projects with you!
First of all, I get so many questions about florals and greenery. So, I put together a reel and caption that you can use to create your own faux floral arrangements! We’ve been doing a lot of work in our game room over the past year. Finally, I think we are getting close to done. I still want to add some furniture.
