Notes From the Nest
I have to say, normal and boring are underrated! Â Anyone else out there who is thankful when they have just a regular week?! Â However, the content I enjoyed sharing this week is definitely not boring, in my opinion, anyway! Â I had a lot of fun sharing with you so let’s recap the week together!
I hope you enjoy the Notes From Our Nest this week!
Around Our Nest:
- We’ve had such pretty weather this week with breezy days and I am so thankful! Â Even though it isn’t the amazing “fall” that our northern friends have, we are so thankful when we get out of the 90s on a regular basis!
- I may or may not have got the Christmas bins out of the attic to start organizing this week!
- It is seriously hard to believe that October is almost over. Â It’s been a really unusual and crazy month around here and it has flown by!
- My class at school had our field trip to the pumpkin patch this week. Â It was adorable and fun and exhausting! Â Haha!
- It finally felt like a real fall weekend at home. Â We’ve enjoyed some shopping, grabbing treats, stocking up the pantry, and of course, some decorating! Â I took full advantage of my willing and excited “team” at home to help with some Christmas prep!
- And last but not least, our two younger kids hosted a car wash party for a fund raiser at their school. Lots of water was used!
Around the ‘Gram This Week:
- A little quieter week on Instagram because it was a busier week on the blog! Â What can I say?! Â I’m a mom and full-time teacher. Â I usually have to focus on one or the other!
- However, I loved sharing what I could on IG this week! Â On THIS post, I shared how I used the free printables from my blog post to create a Thanksgiving tablescape. Â That tablecloth is my latest obsession, by the way, and I’m leaving it out for Christmas too!
Around the Blog This Week:
- Loads of fun on the blog this week! Â If you aren’t a subscriber, I’d love to have you subscribe HERE! Â I often share things on the blog before they make it to social media and then certainly a lot of things that never make it to social media!
- On THIS post, I have free printables and a Thanksgiving challenge you can enjoy! Â Get it printed out and ready to enjoy for November!
- Over on THIS post, we finally got a big request fulfilled: You can find 3 great playlists for the fall and Thanksgiving season. Â These are perfect to enjoy around the house or to have for your Thanksgiving dinner music!
- THIS post was super fun as I played around with some Thanksgiving decorations! Â Get several super easy and fun ideas of how to use feathers in your Thanksgiving decorating!
- As always, Friday Favorites are super fun! Â This week was all about hostess gift ideas and there are some really, really good ones all linked up for you. Â I had fun coming up with some budget-friendly ways to put together the cutest hostess gifts!
